Palmetto Dance Starz provides a well rounded dance education and opportunity for your child to discover the joys of dance. Owned by Courtney Marini, she envisioned a dance studio that would provide the children of our community with the opportunity to learn and participate in an art form that will further their development mentally, physically and socially.

Palmetto Dance Starz mission is to provide quality dance instruction in which students are free to study, learn, grow, and excel in a positive atmosphere.


Courtney Marini
Owner

Courtney is from Greensboro, NC where she started her dance training at the age of 5.  She started dancing competively at the age of 13 for 6 years and began teaching her own classes at the age of 16.  Courtney went to Southwest High School of the Performing Arts where she trained in Ballet.  From then, she joined the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's Dance Team as a dancer/choreographer.  Courtney is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Jazz.  She has been working with and sharing her love and dedication of dance to children for over 25 years.
